What are Multiple Impairments?

Multiple Impairments is a term used to refer to the presence of two or more impairments in an individual, for example, someone with a visual and physical impairment. Sometimes multiple impairments are caused by a specific condition, and other times a person can have multiple impairments for unrelated reasons. Some examples of multiple impairments include:
